Have you had an experience of receiving any unpleasant gift? If you have, it may be because of the cultural differences in gift giving. Usually, gift-giving is a way of showing affection to someone, and most of the time people share happiness and love with this culture. However, there are so many different ways to give gifts in different cultures. Sometimes, people misunderstand others’ intentions because they do not have knowledge about a specific gift giving culture. This interview is going to discuss how different cultures have different gift giving styles and manners. Also, it is going to introduce what kinds of differences they have, and how cultural backgrounds can impact every gift giving style. The audience will be able to understand the cultural differences in gift giving-receiving and how cultures can shape human daily life. We are going to interview 3 different people from different cultures, and share their experience with gift giving.
