The fashion industry is a very dynamic industry. What is in trend today might not be liked by many people in a few years. So, it is important to stay updated with what’s hot right now and what is “so last year”. You have come to the right place to find out the answers to these questions. We will keep you updated on what is in fashion this year; hairstyles and clothes both. So, the next time you’re dressing up to go out to grab a drink with some friends or for a date, you are well aware about the trends and dress accordingly.
That Was So Last Year-Fashion Trends to Leave Behind In 2022
No word more accurately describes fashion in 2022 than “fragmented.” Fashion is always changing and some trends from 2022 just didn’t make it to 2023. For example, wide jeans, scarfs, mini bags, and mini skirts are some trends to leave behind in 2022. Thanks to the popularity of Tik Tok, all kinds of fashion “microtrends” have been created. Every microtrend is named by the suffix “core,” which refers to a niche fashion trend. Everyone is after the likeness, not the source of the trend. Unlike the clear value proposition that minimalism once had, the various core’s definitions and claims are vague. They do not have a clear core style, but a large number of copies spread formed influence. This type of trend is quickly defeated by other similar trends with more traffic, like scarves. People are now opting for turtlenecks rather than scarves as it is a more fashionable alternative. All sorts of strange trends fill the history of fashion in 2022. When micro trends flood the market it becomes impossible for people to follow them all, people will have no choice but to embrace their personal style. We are not here to make you totally abandon 2022’s fashion but are happy to provide some tips for 2023 if you are interested.

Out With the Old and In With the New-Fashion Trends of Spring/Summer 2023
During the last women’s and men’s fashion months we witnessed a lot of new trends and we are excited to share the fashion trends/tips for 2023.
1. Cargo Pants
From Diesel, Coperni to Zara, and a thrift store near you, cargo pants have always been a staple in the streetwear world and they are truly in this season. We all love a good pocket moment.
2. Denim Everything
For better or worse, TikTok has discovered the 00’s and nothing says Y2K like covering yourself in denim. Denim coats, dresses, jackets, overalls – you name it. Just do not make it basic.
3. Silver
Historically, silver replaces gold and here it comes again. A nice route to take for a formal dinner or an elegant party, silver is as roaring 20’s as it gets.

4. Baby Blue
The “Barbie” movie is only in post-production, but the Valentino pink is out and replaced by not-so-bright blue.
5. Huge Bags
Thankfully, Jacquemus bags are eternal, but in general, now is the era of big bags. You do not have to get a Birkin, but a tote would be nice.
6. Low Rise Jeans
Y2K does not just mean denim; it specifically means low-rise jeans. Now, it is not a must, but if you like it, it is time to rock it.

7. Tank Tops
Time to show some skin where the masculine meets the fashionable. There are a lot of great options at Bershka, Zara, Dion Lee, and Calvin Klein.
8. Knitted Wear
Don’t worry, we do not mean your grandma’s sweater. We mean stylish knitted crop tops and tank tops, of course. A barely there knitted sweater by Louis Vuitton is definitely going to have some copycats within the more affordable brands, so be on the lookout for that.
9. Leather
The biker look is always present on the runway, but this season is the ultimate time to wear it.
Nothing Like a Good Hairdo
Hairstyles are an essential factor for fashion since the right hairstyle can be a great help to enhance personal charm. Trends for hair are changing very fast, both for men and women. Every year there are many new hair styles and colours, this year in particular people are starting to look for a new hairdo. TheTrendSpotter released the latest 60 types of hair styles for women and 100 types of hair styles for men for 2023. The top three hairstyles for men and women all share one common characteristic, good manageability. Perhaps because of the rapid development of the times people are also starting to like the simple style. The top three hairstyles for women: Short Wavy Bob, Blunt Cut, and Low Bun. The top three for men: Regulation Cut, High and Tight, and lastly, Clean Shave. All of these hairstyles will look very fresh and stable. For hair colour requirements, people’s eye for colour aesthetics is getting higher and higher due to the changing times. Not only should it suit you but also highlight the good tone of the body. According to Southern Living in 2023, the top three women’s hair colours are Blended Bronze, Caramel Melt Balayage, and Statement Blonde Money Piece. These colors are very versatile no matter what clothes you are wearing, elegant or wearing casual, to show off a good feeling. The top three men’s hair colours for 2023 released by All Things Hair are: Blonde Highlights, Blonde on Mohawk Fade, and Ash Brown. Warm hair colours for both men and women are always sought after, not only to reflect a good temperament but also to make people look very affectionate. The most popular ones this year are simple and can show a person’s face well, according to a survey. Whether it’s a hairstyle or hair colour everyone needs to find the right one for themselves.

Following fashion has become a way of life for today’s generation. People use the internet to stay current with fashion trends and incorporate them into their lives. People are influenced by superstars, and try to emulate their style. With each passing season, the fashion trend shifts and changes constantly. People who dress according to the latest fashion trends are thought to be on trend, while those who stick to the old are thought to be out of date. Today, our dress and style reflect a major part of our personalities. Though we like wearing clothes as per the latest fashion, before blindly following any trend, we should make sure that the particular style suits us. As a result, fashion now plays an essential role in peoples lives. It has evolved into a mode of expression. “Fashion is the armour with which to live everyday life,” says Bill Cunningham.
