From floods to fire, severe weather events are rising in BC and across Canada, and rising with it is the awareness of our impact on the environment. As tourists it’s important we recognize that while we take vacations to get away from it all, our getaways don’t get away from having environmental impacts.

So, this week we interviewed Robin Reid an associate Professor at Thompson Rivers University who has a passion for sustainability and teaches a course titled Environmental Issues in Tourism. We met with her virtually to talk about the intersection of sustainability and tourism highlighting current Issues in the Industry.
